Ever since her parents got divorced, there was talk about how Shruti and her sister considered dad Kamal Hassan’s partner Gautami their mother after falling out with Sarika. But, all these rumours were put to rest at the movie’s premiere. It’s impossible for a mom to break off from her kids, regardless of their differences. Shruti too, after having broken off with Siddharth, perhaps needed mom by her side.
